The Mission of the National Electrical Training Directors Association is to:

Encourage and promote the employment of dedicated full-time electrical apprenticeship Training Directors who possess high levels of professionalism and ethical standards, encourage and promote skill improvement training and safe work procedures for those employed in the electrical industry and assist the electrical training Alliance and its parent organizations, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical Contractors Associateion (NECA) in organizing, evaluating and solving electrical industry training problems by establishing study groups to do research on specific needs and procedures considered for training.
